On 2nd August, Toshiba announced to that it is going to bring its Lifestyle home appliances production line into Brazil, with products including French Door ConvertZone refrigerator, the Greatwaves washing machine and the SmartPlate microwave. The company also informed that it set out to expand its products combination through the year.
French Door ConvertZone refrigerator
The 638L French Door has 26 compartments, with 6 freezer shelves (190 L in total) and flexible zones with temperature and space adjustments. Three independent refrigeration systems work to deliver cold air to each compartment.
The ConvertZone tech area is the highlight in design of this product, which allows an adjustment of temperature from -18℃ to 7℃ for the storage of beer or even fruit and vegetables. To avoid unfavored smells, a deodorizer is built in to remove the bacteria and mould and refresh the air.
The 11-or-12.5kg Toshiba Wash&Dry combination adopts GreatWaves technic to save the laundry time and keeps original color of the clothes simultaneously. The Quick Wash function commits to finish a cycle of half a kilo of clothes in 12 minutes. However, Toshiba also launched a video clip to exhibit its features in technic and design. Apart from the temperature and centrifuge control, a touch control panel is also installed for choosing among 12 wash and dry modes.
The 27L and 35L SmartPlate microwave oven carries pre-programmed recipe and grilling functions to preserve the details (such as food crispness) to the maximized extent. The product also supports to return the cups and bowls to their initial position for removing. It has an Eco function for energy saving and the “Baby Care”, which sterilizes baby bottles and pacifiers for the little ones.
The products are already available on physical dealer and e-commerce platform. This year, the company also cooperated with Multilaser and Hisense to return to Brazil screen and television market.
