Ⅰ. Maintenance on washer

There are two basic models of household washing machines: front-mounted washing machines and top-mounted washing machines.

Regardless of the model of the washing machine, keeping regular and good maintenance on washer and dryer is important. And the following maintenance suggestions can help extend the life of the automatic washing machine:

1. Empty the wet clothes in the washing machine as soon as possible

This is one of the simplest and most important washing machine maintenance steps. Wet clothes in the washing machine will produce an unpleasant odor, and they will become moldy if they are left for too long.

2. Check the washing machine door

Another simple trick is to check whether the plastic gasket of the front-mounted washing machine door is wet. When moisture is present, it will cause the accumulation of mold. Therefore, after each use, the door and gasket of the washing machine should be wiped dry, and the door should be opened slightly to promote air circulation and prevent mildew.

3. Don't overload the washing machine

Overloaded operation of the washing machine can lead to poor washing results, and even damage the clothes and the washing machine.

4. Clean the fluff collector

Excessive fluff is very dangerous for the dryer and may cause a fire. So remember to remove the fluff collector every time you retrieve the dried clothes, and use a long-bristle brush or a manual vacuum cleaner to remove the fluff at the bottom.

5. Clean the ventilation duct of the dryer

Clean the entire ventilation system of the dryer from the inside to the outside at least once a year to ensure that there are no obstructions outside the vents. If the ventilation duct is plastic or ribbed metal, throw it away and replace it with smooth metal.

6. Don't throw dirty stuffs into the dryer

In order to keep the inside of the dryer clean and the machine running efficiently, please do not put any dirt directly into the dryer, you can first put it in the washing machine to clean it.
