User Self-Diagnosis Method for Non-Product Failures


Non-product failure troubleshooting methods: The non-product failure is the problem that can be eliminated by the user through telephone or text instruction. 

Chapter 1:Front Loading Washing Machine non-product troubleshooting method 

I. The door is not closed, indicating an E30 error. 

(i) Door not closed 

The washer must detect the door lock off signal before it continues to run subsequent processes such as water intake and washing. If the PCB does not detect the door close signal after the user presses the start button, the machine will stop working and the screen will display E30 Error Code. User self-test method. 

1.The door is not closed: Close the door and press the start button to continue running the program. 

2.The door is not completely closed: open the door and check if there are clothes stuck between the door glass and the sealing gasket; If yes , put the clothes into the inner drum, close the door again and press the start button once. 

3.Too much clothes: The door lock light on the screen has been closed and started to work, but in the washing process, due to too much clothes in the inner tube, the door will be pushed open in the process of washing, resulting in E30 alarm. 

(ii) Low voltage  

The normal operating voltage for a washing machine is between 187V and 242V, and low voltage will cause the door latch to fail to lock and alarm E30 . 


1.In areas where the voltage is unstable, try to avoid the peak time of electricity consumption when using washing machines. 

2.If the voltage is low, we recommend using a voltage regulator to supply power to the washer. 

II.Non-product failures related to water intake in washing machines. 

(i) No water intake failure 

If the washer fails to feed water, or if the water intake timeout occurs, an E10 error will appear on the screen.  


1.Start check: If the washing light on the control panel does not blink, it means that the program has not started; press the start button once, and the program will be started in the After the wash process light starts flashing, determine if water is entering. 

If there is no water in after the washing light flashes, check whether there is water leakage in the water inlet hose. 

2.Leakage problem: guide the user to check the position of the joints of both ends of the water inlet hose. Reinstall and secure the water inlet hose as described in the instructions. If there are no leaks in the inlet hose connections, check as 'water stop problem'. 

3, water supply problems: remind users to open other faucets to determine whether the water has been stopped at home; if the tap has water outflow, need to verify  If the faucet used in the washing machine is not open. 

If there is a water supply to the faucet and the water pressure is normal , check the filter in the inlet hose or the inlet valve whether there is a dirty blockage 

4. Dirty blockage: If the water supply to the washer is normal, instruct the user to gently press the water inlet valve to make sure that the water inlet valve is working with slight vibration. 


If a slight vibration can be felt, it means that the water inlet valve has been turned on to work, instruct the user to remove the water inlet hose and use a brush to clean the dirt or sand in the inlet hose or inlet valve. 

(ii) Failure of water inlet continuously 

Pressing the start/pause button during the water inlet process, if the inlet valve can stop the water inlet, the user needs to be advised to troubleshoot according to the following fault possibilities: 

(1)Instruct the user to verify that the drain hose clamp on the back of the machine has not been loosened or cut. If the drainage hose has been lowered, you need to re-fix the drainage hose to the height of the clamp (about 60-80cm). 

(2)If the height of the drainage hose is normal, you need to check whether the drainage hose opening is soaked in water, causing the machine to siphon. 

Solution: Pull the washing machine drain hose out a bit so that the drain hose outlet leaves the water . 

If the problem cannot be solved by the above methods, you need to call an after-sales engineer and ask him to come to diagnose the problem. 

(iii) Water inlet valve vibration noise 

According to the user's description, to determine when the noise occurs. 

1.Low water pressure: When the faucet is not open or the water pressure is too low, the water inlet valve is easy to make vibration noise; when the water inlet pressure is normal, the vibration noise will be reduced significantly. 

Solution: This situation is generally caused by the vibration of the water inlet valve's core, which does not affect the working performance of the washing machine and can be used normally. 

2.The sound of the water current impacting during the water inlet process is loud, and it will only be obvious when the environment is very quiet; the sound of water current is not a malfunctioning phenomenon. 

Solution : If the user feels that the sound of the impact of the water intake is too loud, you can adjust the faucet switch to reduce the amount of water. 

If you still cannot solve the noise problem by the above methods, you need to call an after-sales engineer to come to diagnose the problem. 

III. Drainage-related non-product failures 

When the machine has a problem with not draining or draining timeout, the screen will display the E21 error code. 

If the machine is draining water and there is a sound of the drainage pump working, the drainage pump is working. However, if there is an abnormal drainage, the user can be instructed to check it as follows: 

1、The height of the washing machine's drain hose has exceeded 1.2 meters. 

TREATMENT: fix the height of the drain pipe to 0.6 ~ 1.2 meters. 

2. Dirty blockage in the drainage pump, resulting in slow or no drainage. 


Turn off the power of the machine, refer to the user manual, open the pump cover at the bottom right of the machine; drain the water in the pump, and then unscrew the pump filter counterclockwise. 

Clear the foreign objects in the drainage pump, and then tighten the valve filter, power on the washing machine to test. 

If the foreign body cleaned up, the drainage pump still can not drain water properly, you need to call the after-sales phone and ask after-sales engineers to come to diagnose. 

IV. Non-product faults related to washing machine spinning 

(i) Foam Elimination Program 

During the washing, rinsing and final spinning , the machine will be tested for inner drum foam; if there is a lot of inner drum foam , it will go into the Foam removal procedures.  

Program setting: 

1.the screen time is gradually decreasing, and after 15-20 minutes of cumulative decrement, it jumps back to the point where the bubble removal process begins. 

2.During the foam elimination process, the inner tube rotates once at an interval of 5 minutes or so, and the drain pump sometimes turns on, sometimes turns off, and the whole foam elimination process lasts about 15 to 30 minutes. 

Solution: If this happens frequently, check if the user has used detergent that is easily to generate a large amount of foam, or if the user has put too much detergent in, resulting in a large amount of foam in the inner tube. 

If there is not too much foam in the inner drum and the washer is often in foam elimination program, you should call an after-sales engineer to come and diagnose the problem. 

(ii) Spin at low speed 

The washer does not operate for an unusually long time during spinning, or the time repeatedly jumps back from 3 minutes to about 8 minutes. There is even the phenomenon of clothes wringing out water after the end of spinning. 

User's troubleshooting method. 

1, empty cylinder state for dehydration test, if you can quickly on the high-speed, indicating that not high-speed, there may be clothing eccentric too large cause (dewatering with three dewatering eccentric sensing adjustment programs of ten minutes each). If the eccentricity perception adjustment program fails to adjust the eccentricity in the balancing drum, the machine will spin at low speed until the end. 

2、Verify whether there is high water content in the clothes when reporting error, whether there is a single large piece of clothing that leads to unbalance.  

Solution: for clothes with a high-water content, you can manually wring and then spin them; or add a few other clothes. 

Treatment: for clothes with a high water content, you can manually wring out the water before spinning; or add a couple of other clothes to spin, to increase the probability of high speed spinning. 

If the machine can not spin at high speed even when the drum is empty, you need to call an after-sales engineer to come and diagnose the problem. 


(iii) Vibration noise during spinning 

If the washing machine vibrates heavily, makes abnormal noise or even moves during spinning, the user should be instructed to verify. 

1、The transport bolts on the back of the machine have been removed or not : If the transport bolts are not removed, the centrifugal force generated during spinning will be directly transferred to the cabinet, causing the machine to jump, vibrate and move. 


Use a ø13 wrench or an adjustable wrench to remove the 4 transport bolts on the back of the washer and install the hole cover in the accessory bag at the location of the transport bolt holes. 

The washing machine is placed on a rack base , which causes high vibration during spinning.  

Solution: Move the washer to a solid level surface and test the spinning cycle again. 

3. If the machine also vibrates excessively when it is on solid level ground, press and push the top part of the lid at opposite corners to determine if the machine is shaking or the feet are uneven. 


Use a ø17 wrench or an adjustable wrench to adjust the height of the foot bolts and tighten the adjustable foot nuts, then test the machine for spinning. 

4、Vibration of the machine caused by the highest spin speed: Some washer dryer combo models, in order to shorten the drying time, run at the highest spin speed during the dewatering process before drying; models with a spin speed above 1400 rpm may have a loud vibration, which will not affect the working performance of the machine and need no treatment. 

If you still cannot solve the above problems, you need to call the after-sales engineer to diagnose the problem. 

(iv) Dealing with the problem of no spin 

1.The spin program has not been started: instruct the user to check whether the spin light on the screen is flashing. If the light is not blinking, the machine has not yet started the spin program. 

Solution: Press the start button and check if the spin light starts flashing, the spin program has started. 

2.Check to see if there is too much foam in the inner drum, which will result in the machine being in the foam elimination program. 

Solution: Wait for the machine to automatically run the foam elimination program. if there is too much foam in the inner tube, you can add other dirty clothes to wash and run the washing process again. 

3.Single piece of clothing: The existence of high-water content clothing in the clothing, or only a single piece of large clothing, resulting in the machine dehydration eccentric perception adjustment program is invalid, resulting in the protection of eccentricity. 

Solution: For clothes containing large amount of water, you can manually wring out the water , and then spin ; or you can add a few pieces of other clothes , so as to increase the balance possibility of high-speed spin. 

If you still cannot solve the problem after the above reasons are ruled out, you need to call an after-sales engineer to come and diagnose the problem. 

(v) Problems with add clothes in mid of washing process 

In some models, there may be a problem that the clothes can be added in the middle of the washing process, but sometimes there is no reaction when the button is pressed.  

Solution : 

1.Check that if the water in the drum is above the lower edge of the door glass, opening the door will cause leakage. 

2.The washer runs with heating , and the temperature of the water in the inner drum has exceeded the safety protection setting, the machine will automatically stop the function of adding clothes . 

If you still can't solve the problem after eliminating the above reasons, you need to call an after-sales engineer to come and diagnose the problem. 

V. Problems in the drying process of washer and dryer combo washing machine 

(i) unpleasant smell during drying 

Some washer dryer combo models may have an unpleasant smell during the drying process.  


1, when the new machine runs for the first time there may be smell of lubricating grease, metal parts inside the machine itself, after one or two cycles of drying and blowing cycles this will disappear on its own. 

2. If the washer has not been run for a long time, the residual water inside the machine may cause a bad smell.  Run the tub clean high temperature program once to solve the problem. 

If you still can't solve the problem after eliminating the above reasons, you need to call an after-sales engineer to come and diagnose the problem. 

(ii) The door cannot open when the drying has finished. 

On some washer dryer combo models, the door still cannot open after drying is complete.   

User self-inspection method: 

Listen close to the machine door and control panel if there is sound of a fan blowing air.  When there is a large amount of laundry in the drum just after drying, the temperature inside the drum is still high and the door glass may burn people. The machine therefore determines that it automatically enters a cold air cycle cooling program. This may last 10-30 minutes, and the door will not be allowed to open until the temperature inside the drum has dropped to a safe range. 

If you still can't solve the problem after eliminating the above reasons, you need to call an after-sales engineer to come and diagnose the problem. 

(iii) Inaccurate display time of drying 

When the washer-dryer selects the drying program, it will display the time required for the maximum drying capacity by default. During the drying process, the program will automatically determine the load of clothes in the drum and the level of dryness to adjust the drying time automatically. Therefore, the actual drying time may differ from the displayed time.  The actual drying time may be longer if there are more clothes in the drum and they are wet, or it may be shorter if there are fewer clothes in the drum and they dry easily.
